Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Peri-Boost (30g / 1 oz)
- 200ml kefir or unsweetened almond milk (¾ cup)
- ¼ banana (adds prebiotic fibre and sweetness)
- ¼ ripe papaya (or ½ kiwi, peeled, but optional for milder taste)
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger (reduced from 1 tsp for balance)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (1 US tbsp)
- 1 Medjool date or ½ tsp maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- Ice as needed
Why it works:
Banana and papaya both support digestion while sweetening the blend.
Ginger is soothing for the stomach, but toned down to harmonise with cacao.
Kefir or almond milk keeps it creamy and gut-supportive without acidity.
Date or maple syrup can balance the slight tang from kefir.
Instructions:
Blend until velvety. Let sit 2–3 minutes to allow flax to soften for an even smoother texture.
