TOGETHER, WE RISE.

Following a few days of quiet, peace and joy in what has been a really tough 10 months. Trying to anticipate the mood of the country and our community, what the news will tell us by the time you read this, the individual impact the pandemic will be having on each and everyone we know, is impossible.

But there is one thing of which we are certain. And that is that people have found they possess previously untested strength. And women, particularly, have shown, through action, their resilience. Everywhere, we are rising up to shape futures in new and exciting ways. We’re more visible than ever (not that there isn’t a long way to come!). We’re at the front-line - as key workers, as educators. We’re fulfilling multiple roles - as mothers, as daughters, as partners, as friends. We’re running countries with fresh principles. We’re building businesses. And we’re building them on our terms. 

Which is why, this January, our focus is on the collective power of women when they come together. We want to build on the foundations laid in 2020 - to celebrate phenomenal individuals doing phenomenal things in their communities. To shine a spotlight on women running businesses differently - or offering new, tailored services, in new ways. We want to share how women navigate midlife well by sharing your stories. We want to know what works for you. What you’ve learned. And we want to use this collective energy to shatter the negative stereotypes around midlife, for good.
