Can MPowder products be taken alongside HRT?
Many women take our powder alongside their HRT prescription. Every woman's menopause journey is different and it is important you find the right support for your body.
Our focus is on the nutritional hit your body needs at this life stage, so it can be a great complement to HRT. Our products are designed to sit alongside HRT (body-identical) and have been blended to ensure there are no known contraindications with the ingredients we select. Unfortunately, we are not able to advise on suitability with bio-identical hormones because they are not regulated by NICE.
We always recommend that you seek medical advice when you first experience menopause symptoms.
Are your powders safe to take if I have been diagnosed with breast cancer, or have a history of breast cancer in my family?
The medical guidance around the inclusion of isoflavones in the diet for women with a history of some cancers is mixed.
Isoflavones act as phytoestrogens by mimicking natural estrogens in the body. Research on the role of phytoestrogens in estrogen-dependent cancers including some types of breast cancer is inconclusive. So, although consumption of soy foods (which contain isoflavones) are considered healthy and safe, supplements like our Peri-Boost contain higher concentrations of isoflavones than food.

When should I start taking products from the MPowder range?
Every woman, regardless of symptoms, will benefit from starting the Peri-Boost programme as her bio-chemistry changes. The average age in the UK is 43. But some women experience peri-menopause much earlier.

I can't take HRT. Can I take your products instead?
Our supplements work very differently to HRT, every woman's menopause journey is different and it is important you find the right support for your body. Our focus is on the nutritional hit your body needs at this life stage and our blends can help address nutritional deficiencies in midlife and therefore the root cause of some of the symptoms.
Isoflavones act as phytoestrogens by mimicking natural estrogens in the body. With Meno-Boost, we use a small amount of red clover for the potential it has shown in lab tests. In trial, women who had a history of hormone sensitive cancers checked about taking this ingredient and were advised it was safe. For peace of mind, we always suggest you contact your medical team to get a quick 10 minute appointment and ask them to check through the ingredients.
How to take MPowder
How do I measure out 30g?
Simply measure out 3 level tablespoons to make sure you get your daily recommended 30g dose.
Why do you suggest that your powders are taken in the morning?
As our powders contain a rich mix of natural energy giving sources, taking MPowder as part of your breakfast routine ensures we can power you through your day, rather than keep you awake at night!
Should MPowder replace my morning coffee?
Many of our Peri-Boost Makers found that a morning hit of MPowder gives them the energy they need to FINALLY break their coffee habit. Our advice is to monitor your response to our Powders. If you are taking Peri-Boost, and find yourself feeling 'wired', that will be the cacao! - and you should then give further time between taking our scoop and your first coffee of the day.
Why do you suggest that your blend is taken within 30 minutes of mixing?
MPowder is free from caking agents and bulking agents and packed full of whole foods. This means the mixture can separate if left to stand more than 30 minutes after blending.
What to expect
I've started noticing my stools are looser - is this normal?
In the first 1-3 weeks, some women may experience an increase in bowel movements and changes in stool consistency. However, if you experience extreme discomfort or diarrhoea it may be that you need to introduce our product more gradually to manage its detoxifying properties. See below.
What do I do if I get an upset stomach in the first weeks of introducing MPowder to my daily routine?
If you have extreme symptoms, however much you think they may be associated with MPowder, please seek immediate help from a medical professional. If, however, you are experiencing bloating, diarrhoea or an upset stomach, our advice is to stop the product for 2 days. Let your body rebalance and then slowly introduce our powder back into your routine at a dosage of 10g (1 level tablespoon) for 3 days, and then 20g (2 level tablespoons) for 3 days. And, if you still feel good, return to the recommended daily dose of 30g (3 tablespoons), on day 7. Also, avoid taking it on an empty stomach or too cold.
What do I do if my stomach remains upset whenever I take MPowder?

I'm already taking a number of supplements. Should I stop these when I start taking your powders each day?
Yes - ish! MPowder is designed to deliver a complete nutritional boost for the three bio-chemical stages of menopause. This means that you don't need to purchase additional supplements to get the foundational support your body needs. The one additional supplement you may want to consider or continue, is a good high dose source of Omega-3.
Making MPowder work for you
How often should I take MPowder?
You should take 30g a day. We recommend a daily morning hit of 3 level tablespoons blitzed in your blender with ice, your choice of milk and a handful of fruit/veg to suit your taste.
What does your powder taste like?
Our powders have an earthy taste due to the plant-based formulations. We purposefully don’t add masking agents or artificial flavours, so that you get the full benefit of the pure, natural nourishment of the ingredients. For some, the flavour takes time to get used to - it just depends on your individual tastebuds. If the taste is a struggle for you, just know we're here with loads of recipes from the community to support you.
I find the taste of the powder very bitter with water. What can I do to integrate a scoop into my every day?
Your taste buds are as individual as your body. Our Makers have many ingenious recipes to share. Can I cook with MPowder powders?
MPowder can be added to hot ingredients (porridge or hot water) - but to preserve the nutritional hit, we don't recommend baking with our powder.
How quickly should I see results?
Our research and work with our Makers indicates that most women start to see improvements to their symptoms within 4-6 weeks. But every body is different. And how you live, plus outside factors play a huge part in how you transition through menopause. Our recommendation is to commit to taking MPowder every day for 3 months. And to work with us to introduce other lifestyle changes to really see an impact.
How can I tell if your powder works?
Each of our products contains ingredients that have shown potential in the lab and results in real life. In addition, each powder is tested first by our Makers so we can check the final blend delivers as we intend. But every body is different.
Any nutritional change to diet takes 4-8 weeks for effects to be truly seen. We recommend trying our quarterly subscription to help establish a consistent, daily routine (as well as saving 15%!).
Are there any common allergens in your powders?
Please check the ingredients in our powders prior to purchase. All allergens are clearly marked in bold.
What happens if I have an adverse reaction to your powders?

Can I overdose on MPowder?
All of our powders are designed to give you a dosage within accepted daily levels of intake. We do not recommend you exceed the stated dosage. But, you can take them daily for as long as you like.
Why aren't all your ingredients organic?
We buy organic, wherever possible. And as we grow, our ambition is to be certified organic across all areas of our business.
There are a number of common herbs used in menopause that are not in your blends. Why is this?
The menopause transition can last for 8-10 years. But, many herbs recommended during menopause should not be taken for extended periods of time. Our ingredients are carefully selected to be taken, daily, for as long as you need us.
Are your powders GMO free?
Yes, all ingredients in our powders are GMO free.
Are your powders Gluten free?
Yes, all ingredients in our powders are entirely gluten-free
Are your powders suitable for Vegans?
Yes, all ingredients in our powders are vegan.
Can I take this product with my prescription medicines?

Our powders are designed to support hormonal changes associated with the menopause, and are not advised during pregnancy or breast-feeding.

Why are there synthetic vitamin sources for some of the ingredients in your blends?
We use natural sources wherever we can - there are two instances where this can be an issue.
This can be due to volume, where natural sources of some vitamins require so much 'bulk' we can not always accommodate them within our serving size. And occasionally there simply isn't a naturally occurring source.
However, we always ensure we compliment any synthetic ingredient with a whole food boost in our formulation.

How long does each pouch of powder last?
Our Discovery Pouches contain a 15 day supply. Our Daily Pouches contain a 30 day supply. Taster samples deliver a single serving.
Why don't you include a scoop with your pouches?
Because future generations will thank us! We are working hard to tread as lightly as possible. And we know that is what our customers want from us too. Simply measure out 3 level tablespoons of our powder to ensure you get your recommended 30g daily dose.
Are your pouches recyclable?
Are your delivery boxes and booklets recyclable?
Yes. All printed material is made from recycled stock and designed to be recycled again.
What payment methods do you accept?

When will my card be charged?

How do I set up an MPowder subscription?
Before placing your order, choose the frequency of your subscription on the product page. You can choose from:
- One pouch delivered every month (30-day supply)
- Three pouches delivered every quarter (90 day supply)
Your first delivery date sets the date for your future deliveries, which you can change easily in your account at any time after your first order.
How can I make changes to my subscription?
You can make the following changes to your subscription, at any time after the first delivery:
- delay the date of your next shipment
- update your delivery address
- update your payment details
- change the powder you are receiving
- cancel your subscription

When will my subscription be charged?
Your billing date is set by the date you first placed your subscription order. Hereafter you'll be automatically charged on this date each time your subscription us due to be sent out - either monthly or quarterly.
If you change the date of a future delivery, we will bill you on the date you have selected.
How can I change the date of my next delivery?
You can change the date of your next subscription easily in My Account:
1. Log In to My Account with your email and password.
2. Select 'Manage Subscriptions'.
3. Go to 'Next Charge Date' to choose a date from the calendar, and select 'UPDATE NEXT SHIPMENT DATE'
Your next subscription delivery will be dispatched and charged on the new date you have chosen.If you didn't create a password when placing your order it's easy to set up an Account. How do I update my payment method?
You can change your payment details used for your subscription in My Account:
1. Log In to My Account with your email and password.
2. Select 'Manage Subscriptions'.
3. You will see your subscription listed in Subscription Orders - select EDIT.
4. Go to the 'Card On File' section and click the arrow to edit your card details.
5. Select 'UPDATE CARD'.
Your next subscription delivery will be charged to the details you have chosen.
Can I change the powder I am subscribed to?
You can change the product you'll receive in your next subscription delivery, through My Account:
1. Log In to My Account with your email and password.
2. Click on 'Manage Subscriptions'.
3. Go to 'Delivery Schedule'.
4. The powder you are subscribed to will be listed - click on the arrow, followed by SWAP PRODUCT.
5. Choose the powder you want and click SELECT.
Your next subscription delivery will contain the powder you have chosen.
How do I change the address I want my next subscription to be delivered to?
To change the address for your next subscription delivery, please log in to My Account with your email address and password.
Select 'Manage Subscriptions' followed by 'Shipping Addresses' where you will be able to change the address details for future subscription deliveries.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription in My Account:
1. Log in using your email address and password.
2. Select 'Manage Subscriptions'.
3. Click EDIT.
4. At the bottom of the page you will find the option to CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.
Your subscription delivery will be cancelled, and there will be no further recurring charges.
Why can't I access my MPowder account?
If you didn't set a password when you placed your order, it's easy to set up an account. You can request an account invite that will enable you to activate your account and access your subscription. Simply select ACCOUNT at the top of our homepage, followed by Need Help. Just enter the email address you used to make your purchase.
If you created a password when you placed your order, but are unable to log in to your account, you may be using the wrong email address or password. Please try the following:
- You can request to re-set your password if you have forgotten it.- If you have tried to use an email address not registered to your account, the following message will show : 'No account found with that email'. To identify the email address registered to your account, search for our order confirmation emails which will have been sent to this email address.

I've got too much powder - can I skip my next delivery?
If you don't need your next delivery of MPowder as scheduled, it's easy to skip a monthly or quarterly delivery.
Simply log in to My Account with your email address and password, and select Manage Subscriptions. Then go to Delivery Schedule where you can see the details of your upcoming order. Just select SKIP to miss the next one.
